End-to-End Communications Services Demo

Based on flight feasibility and scientific merit, the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) will review further detail on a SpaceLink relay implementation on the ISS National Lab

CASIS Invites SpaceLink to Submit Proposal for End-to-End Communications Services Demonstration on the International Space Station

SpaceLink is honored to be invited to submit a proposal to demonstrate its end-to-end communications services on the International Space Station (ISS) U.S. National Laboratory. SpaceLink submitted a Concept Summary in response to a National Lab Research Announcement (NLRA) for Technology  Development. The Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) determined that it met criteria for flight feasibility and scientific merit allowing SpaceLink to proceed to the next step toward validation of its relay system on the ISS. SpaceLink plans to demonstrate real-time voice, video, and data exchange between ISS crew, onboard systems, experiments, and terrestrial users.
